Population Foundation of India (PFI) identified the need for a centralized and accessible digital platform for family planning and sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) information in India. Critical datasets and policy insights existed across National Family Health Survey (NFHS) rounds, Census data, and multiple policy documents, making access, interpretation, and comparison time consuming for journalists, researchers, and policy stakeholders.
The project involved developing a family planning resource centre microsite that brought together PFI’s knowledge products, national health datasets, and publication resources within a unified digital system. The platform included an interactive family planning map, multi-round NFHS comparison dashboard, thematic resource hubs, and downloadable resources focused on improving accessibility, clarity, and speed of information retrieval.

My Role
Project & Account Management
Initiated discussions with stakeholders to understand project requirements and goals
Worked closely with PFI Delhi and Bihar teams to organise documents and datasets under thematic resource hubs
Collaborated on data-led infographic planning and guided design approaches for complex information
Oversaw workflows and delivery coordination across the project
Led coordination between creative and website development teams to ensure accurate implementation of the approved UI system
Led quality checks and ensured timely deployment of the microsite from staging environment to the main PFI website
Creative & Design
Led the design team in developing the UI/UX systems for the microsite
Created infographic designs translating complex datasets and research-driven information into simplified visual formats
Executed Hindi and English adaptations of the developed infographics
